Position Description

The Sr. Manager is responsible for managing and expanding relationships for several top tier manufacturers, including product launches, product lifecycles, and all aspects of brand account management. The role requires navigation across multiple functional teams to yield positive financial growth through product strategy and launch excellence planning. The incumbent must be capable of delivering profitability within the brand product portfolio, with additional focus on the vials & caps category. They will provide oversight for the Vials & Caps P&L with a budget of $12M. This will entail establishing the category budget and reconciling monthly with FP&A by retrieving and analyzing sales/purchase data. This role will have responsibility for negotiating complex fee for service agreements and engage with legal team to review and discuss agreement language. Additionally, there will be opportunities to lead and/or participate on enterprise-wide initiatives for process improvement with an impact to manufacturer relationships and increased profitability. The role will have one or more direct reports, which will require leading and developing of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage numerous top tier manufacturers throughout the product lifecycle to include: onboarding, product launch, product level changes, purchasing restrictions, etc.
  • Deliver on-launch excellence for high level new products by creating a launch strategy and providing continuous oversight throughout stabilization of the product sales.
  • Act as the primary liaison between manufacturers and McKesson.
  • Manage internal customer relationships effecting manufacturer partnerships such as Promotional Buying, Promotional Accounting, Returns, Legal, Regulatory, A/P, RNA Support Solutions, Contracts, etc.
  • Champion McKesson interests with Brand manufacturer partners.
  • Establish financial budget for Vials & Caps P&L and reconcile monthly results/accruals.
  • Review sales and purchase data to determine performance to plan and identify issues/opportunities. Provide forecasting information to aid in planning of fiscal year budgeting.
  • Lead and develop product/account manager responsible for Tier 2-5 manufacturer relationships.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance as needed for maintaining positive performance and address performance issues, as needed.
  • Lead and/or engage with enterprise-wide projects to assist with implementing process improvement that provide manufactures with a more efficient method of sharing information.

Minimum Requirements
  • Typically has 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • 4+ years of customer service experience
  • Intermediate MS Office proficiency

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$109,400 - $182,300
